The Emigres
This story is set during the occupation of France during World War 2, when The Resistance and The Nazis have been playing a game of cat and mouse . Annette Beniot, the pilot, (resistance handle: "Margarite") hadn't seen nor heard from her former best friend, Shelly Shannon, (resistance handle: "Joanna") in four years, since the war began, and had given her up for gone, or dead. She wasn't aware that Shelly had been fighting in the resistance. Here is where she meets Shelly for the first time in those passed years.
